KIT LIST

What Kit Do I Need?

For all activities the basic approach is that you should have a base layer (that isn’t

cotton - something like a football top), a mid layer of fleece & an outer layer that is both wind proof & waterproof.

In addition to these items you will need track pants (NOT JEANS) waterproof trousers & a pair of woolly socks and either boots or trainers (with a good tread) or, if caving, wellington boots.

A hat & gloves are also handy, along with a good packed lunch.

With this kit you’ll be able to do any activity and stay reasonably warm - even if wet.

What If I Haven’t Got The Kit?

We have a small collection of wetsuits, but ask all participants to provide other clothing & footwear for the activities booked. Obviously all technical equipment is included in the price charged for instruction, but we do reserve the right to refuse an individual access to an activity if they are inappropriately dressed, e.g: turning up for caving in just shorts & a T-shirt! (In this situation there will be no refund.) This is for the individual and groups safety - something we will not compromise!

Finally, a complete change of clothes, a towel & a black bin bag to throw all your wet stuff into, is quite handy.
